Mini Evaluation (Alex Elliott)

It took a lot of work and stress but the product has finally been finished. In my opinion I think we have done really well considering the only sort of work like this that we did before was a preliminary exercise, which was nowhere near as hard as a 2 minute sequence. In the preliminary exercise I worked with Chloe and Stuart, so i already knew we worked well together and I agree that we did this time as well. We shared the work out fairly between us and got on with it, not one of us has ever gone off on our own and done all the work.
When it came to planning what we was actually going to do, we listened to eachother and used each of our ideas.
I think we did enough research before actually filming our product, so we had an idea of what we wanted it to look like. The filming itself wasnt too difficult, although we had to get as many different camera angles in as possible, a task Im not sure we have done very well, although there are various camera angles present.
The editing was the hardest part for me, I did some small parts but mostly watched and learnt from Stuart who knew what to do. Deciding to use narration and completing it wasnt to hard as we had done directors cuts before and they went well.
The song we chose to have playing in the background fits in really well with the theme I think, because it is a love story about a woman who cant find love and the words to the song are about giving up. I think if there was anything I would do differently it would be to ask our target audience what they thought of our work every step of the way. That way it would be the best it could be because we would have had opinions and tips from our audience and from that we could identify whether it would attract them or not. Also I would have thought about location more, although most of the scenes are taking place at work and the school seemed an appropraite place to film, it might not look that way in the finished product.
All this in mind I am really pleased with the final product and hope it does well.
