another opening sequence (stuart)

this time I looked at the first part of "love actually". It both matches the genre me and my group are going for as well as includes narration, over silent shots with music in the background, to start it off.

it begins with multiple shots of couples, families and friends being reunited. mostly mid or long shots to get the full picture of what is going on, so we can see the relationships of thoes on screen and how it relates to the narration over the top. the shots have been slowed down slightly so we can see in more detail the effect that the characters have apon each other.

some shots are long shots from a distance, with the camera zoomed in and focused on them. other shots used include mid shots, close ups and over the shoulder shots.

we have included all of these shots in our film, giving a wider range of shots gives the viewer more ways to see the film and get a feel for the atomosphere.

the music plays a big part in setting the right atomosphere, although in the start of love actually the music has simple chords and a melody, it has a great effect. a very positive feeling piece of music to add to the effect of love.
we have included an acoustic, up beat piece helping to give that positive feel to it to go with the shots and narration.

i don't know if this is making any sense but i am trying :D
can't seem to get the vid up yet, so until i do....
